Combining Old World mystery with New World sophistication, Apothic Dark wine is a true original. Winemaker Bcrafts bold, captivating Apothic blends by using only the most distinctive California grapes. From vintage to vintage, Boyd lets the character and flavour of the individual varietals guide the shape of each blend. Apothic Dark Wine accentuates the bold character of these varietals, while seamlessly integrating each into an intriguing blend. The grapes used in this blend were grown in an array of vineyards throughout the beautiful California Central Valley. An assortment of microclimates and soil types in the different vineyards leads to unique wine styles in the winery. A medium-bodied, delicious red blend with dark fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry complemented by notes of coffee and dark chocolate for a rich, yet silky smooth, palate.
